"Altoids at High Altitude," a romantic comedy, published by Soul Mate Publishing is about a stressed out project manager with an inner voice that gets her into trouble. She meets the handsome IT contractor who intends to de-stress her. Their gray cube wall is not the only thing that separates them. Problems arise when she is whisked away in his private jet for lunch thinking it’s a joke.
A short story, "Counting the Days," appears in "Mystery and Romance Under the Northern Lights." The story is about a woman who never expected her life in a north woods resort to turn to isolation and oppression. When she gets a birthday card reconnecting to an old friend, the door opens to revenge, murder, and escape. Letters tell the story.
Diane is currently working on her second mystery, "In Plain Site, A Janet Darcy Mystery" now that she has her first novel hiding under the bed. Some day she plans to rewrite “510 Groveland.”
Besides writing about quirky characters in tight situations, Diane lives in Lake Elmo, Minnesota close to the Gateway Trail where she can be found bicycling, inline skating, or just walking—anything to get out of cooking and cleaning. See more at www.dianepearsonwriter.com
